First Demos@Work project Workshop coming soon !!!

The first results from the Demos@Work project will be presented at the first workshop being held in Prague, Czech Republic during the 7th Eastern European e|Gov Days: eGovernment & eBusiness Ecosystem & eJustice (April 22 - 24, 2009).
The aim of the workshop entitled "Reconnecting citizens with politics and policy making: Assessing the first results from the Demos@Work project" is to showcase practical achievements in the eParticipation area and to reconnect citizens with politics and policy making. More information will be communicated shortly.

Third meeting of the Demos@Work Consortium

10 November 2008

The 3rd project management meeting took place in Athens November 6th and 7th. During the meeting organizational and managerial issues were discussed along with the evaluation of the platform. We would like to thank the Delegation of the European Commission and the European Parliament in Athens for offering us their premises for the event.

Demos@work presented in the 2008 World e-Democracy Forum

Maria Perez Ortega, from GFI , Project coordinator of the demos@work project presented the objectives and key activities in a specific section of the World e-Democracy Forum organized by Momentum. World e-Democracy Forum one of the top international events in the field that took place in ISSY-LES- MOULINEAUX, Paris France the 16th and 17th October 2008.

Evika Karamagioli from Gov2u presented the objectives and key activities of the Demos@work project at the workshop organized by Momentum during the international Electronic Democracy conference 2008 in Krems, Austria the 29th and 30th September 2008.

The demos@work presented in the 7th eGov 2008 Conference

03.09.2008

The executive Director of Gov2u presented the demos@work project at the “eParticipation Research Projects: From Theory to Practice” Workshop.

The workshop took place in Turin, Italy September the 3rd , during the 7th International eGov 2008 Conference in the framework of the 2008 DEXA event.

The workshop brought together eParticipation researchers and stimulated discussion among representatives of Enterprises, Governments and European Commission on the practical achievements and current challenges of electronic participation research.

Central part in the workshop was given to real-life demonstrations and cases analysis, accompanied by additional relevant contributions from other international research projects in the domain.

Second meeting of the Demos@Work Consortium

3-4 July 2008

The second meeting of the Demos@Work consortium took place in Vilnius, Lithuania (3-4 of July). During the meeting consortium members had the chance to evaluate the work done so far and to coordinate the forthcoming project activities.
